How do I get my license back after a suspension in Oregon?

How much does it cost to get my license reinstated?

Step One:  Call the Oregon DMV at 1.503.945.5000 give them your information and find out if you are eligible for reinstatement.  If you are not yet eligible, determine when you will be eligible.

Step Two:  If you are eligible for reinstatement, ask them what you need to do in order to reinstate your license.  Often the answer will include the following if you're suspended following a DUII conviction:

  • File an SR22 (or wait out the SR22 requirement which can be up to three years after you're eligible for reinstatement);

  • Install an ignition interlock device in your vehicle(s);

  • Provide proof of treatment completion;

  • Pay a $75 reinstatement fee.

Keep in mind that you might be suspended for multiple reasons that require additional reinstatement requirements.
